How to Draw Freehand
1Choose Freehand Tool
On the
Main Ribbon Bar, switch to the "Edit" category. Find the
"Freehand Tool" tool button on the "Edit Tools" panel.
Click to select it. As shown below.
2Choose the most Suitable Drawing Options
When the Freehand Tool is used as the current editing tool, a series
of related options will appear on the right control panel. As shown below. Unlike
the options of other drawing tools, the options of the Freehand Tool are only valid
for the line or curve to be drawn. In other words, once the straight or curved segment
has been drawn successfully, the change option setting is invalid.
- Draw Bezier: A series of discrete points are obtained by moving
and clicking the mouse on the canvas. Checking this option means using Bezier curves
to approximate or fit these discrete points. All the short straight line segments
drawn in this way become continuous curves.
- Draw Spiro: A series of discrete points are obtained by moving
and clicking the mouse on the canvas. Checking this option means using spiral to
approximate or fit these discrete points. All the short straight line segments drawn
in this way become smooth curves.
- Smoothing: Smoothing here means to simplify and streamline. The
value range is between 0-100. The larger the setting value, the fewer nodes on the
curve, and the more discrete points collected on the canvas will be discarded. But
the curve appears smoother. The opposite is the opposite.

Smoothing = 1

Smoothing = 30

Smoothing = 75

Smoothing = 100

- Shape: Here you can specify the overall shape of the curve or straight
line. For example, triangle or ellipse. By default, the stroke width of each point
on the curve is equal. But if you specify the shape, the pen width of each point
will change as the shape changes. But sometimes this kind of change is not so great
that it cannot be seen directly by naked eyes.

Shape = Triangle In

Shape = Triangle Out

Shape = Ellipse

- Reset: Restore Smoothing to the default value. It is equal to 4.0.
3Draw Freehand Lines
- Draw Straight Segments: Move the mouse on the canvas to a position
near the starting point, and click the left mouse button to confirm the starting
point of the straight line segment. Then release the mouse to move it to a position
near the end point. Click the left mouse button to confirm the end point. Release
the left mouse button to complete the drawing process.
- Draw Path: First move the mouse on the canvas to a position near
the starting point of the path to be drawn. Click the left mouse button, and then
keep the mouse pressed down, drag the mouse along the direction of the path until
the end of the path is reached, release the left mouse button to end the process.
